Mill Street Inn - Newport

wake-up service, available in my studio, was a nice bonus. the room had a flat-screen tv with cable channels, climate control and a personal safe plus smoke detectors, provided for safety measures. location: the hotel was just off most attractions as well as the downtown area. the breakfast was nice hot, the check in was smooth.

The breakfast was inclusive on the roof deck! Had immaculately clean and huge room with nice decor for a wonderful stay.

Charming atmosphere makes it feel like home.

The room had a lingering smell from cleaning solutions, quite off-putting. Even though everything was freshly cleaned, the strong odor was overwhelming and detracted from my overall comfort in the room.

The location is just great. The suites are spacious, and the idea of marrying modern designs with a historical building makes this hotel very charming.

I know hotels are generally trying to be more mindful about the environment by reducing the frequency to change towels, bed sheets, etc. However, we accidentally stained the bed sheets on the first night of the stay. Instead of changing the sheets, the house keeping staff simply ignored the stains and made the bed as if nothing was there. It made our 2nd night of stay pretty uncomfortable.

Cute small intimate hotel in a good location. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly, room clean and spacious.

The room was on the first floor and a little musty smell.

We've stayed here before, love it's central location and clean friendly facilities.

As for your service, they did not have our reservations when we arrived. Luckily they had a room available. Not happy when we did not have reservations we requested through your service.

My wife and I had a wonderful three day stay in Newport at the Mill Street Inn. Our kingsize bed was very comfortable and the bedroom fireplace was a great plus. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was absolutley great with the best homemade granola in the world and plenty of fresh fruit, nuts, etc. We looked forward to the fresh squeezed orange & grapefruit juice every morning and the great lattes in the afternoon, not to mention out of this world fresh baked cookies every evening. Great location and great inn. We wholeheartedly recommend Mill Street Inn.

Suggestion- If you want clients to reuse towels, etc. than I suggest installing towel racks in the bathrooms.

Great location downtown. Off-street parking. Very quiet.

Problem with the heat. Staff did would they could. Adjusted our bill at check-out.

I appreciated the excellent service from staff who were always eager to assist, including providing complimentary snacks in the spacious Beautiful Suite. The charming decor added a cute touch, although the breakfast offerings could use a bit more variety. The location is fantastic, but parking can be tight during busy times.

The hotel room had bed bugs. My wife is allergic to bed bug bites and when we got back to our house her whole back was swollen with bed bug bites.

Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in; terrific breakfast with fresh blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, yogurts, espresso machine, etc. etc. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff

Loved the setting rooms were modern but had the historic charm.
